Here it is! For 2004 Halloween, if I don't sluff off too much. Be forewarned, though: I am neither a master seamstress nor a patient gal when it comes to outfits.
Went to the local thrift shop and got:
1.) stretchy faux velvet turtleneck
2.) stretchy polyester sweatpants (way too big- a size 16)
3.) checkered/plaid type skirt
4.) lt purple turtleneck (again too big)
total: $9
I started by sewing up the sides of the sweatpants and cutting off the very top and very bottom. It now fits perfectly.
Then cut off sleeves of the velvet turtleneck, turned the sleeves inside out (the color on the inside matches the pants!)
Cut the skirt so that it looks like one piece.
Cut bottom half of lighter turtleneck off for veil.
Voila! First pic:
Bought a string of beads and a pair of long gloves. Total: $2
